In celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday, Raj Grewal, Member of Parliament for Brampton East will recognize exceptional members of our community with a special Canada 150 Volunteer Award. The awards will be presented at a special ceremony in Fall 2017.
Do you know a Brampton East resident who has personally made contributions that have, or are currently making Brampton East and in extension Canada, a happier, healthier and stronger place to live? If you do, then nominate this resident by completing the form below. Canadian citizenship is not a requirement for this award.
Eligibility criteria:
- Nominees must live within the boundaries of the electoral district of Brampton East. To find out if the nominee lives in Brampton East, please enter their postal code here.
- Age 12+
- Self-nominations are not permitted.
How to submit your nomination:
In order to submit a nomination, please email raj.grewal@parl.gc.ca no later than September 30th, 2017. You will need to include:
- The name, full address and contact information of the nominee and of yourself.
- A description of your nominee’s contributions, including type of work performed, organizations involved, length of service and other relevant biographical information.
- Two letters of support from organizations or individuals who can attest to the candidate’s volunteer contributions.
